Christopher Venter is an adventurer and writer based in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2008, he fell ill whilst embarking on an 32,000 km scooter expedition across Africa to Ireland and this led to him losing his sight. Today he is known as the Blind Scooter Guy and the go-to guy when it comes to smartphone apps and other technological tools for the visually impaired across South Africa. He hopes to inspire others to explore, enjoy every sensory opportunity and live a full life.
