Elisabeth Anne Makumbi

Elisabeth was born in Zimbabwe, raised by Kenyan and Ugandan parents, grew-up in KZN and currently lives in Cape Town to pursue a career in international sustainable development. She joined TEDxCapeTown in 2021 as a Speaker Coordinator and is committed to leaving a lasting impact on the organization. In her day-to-day job, Elisabeth works as a management consultant/attorney in the resilience practice. She also enjoys rollerskating, reminiscing, and relaxing in no particular order. Her favorite TED Talk is "Made in Africa" by Abai Schulze.
