Inspired by TED’s mission to share ideas that have the potential to bring about positive change, Bianca joined TEDxCapeTown in 2020. An interest in business and consumer behaviour led her to pursue a career in Fashion Buying. She is passionate about developing people and growing brands, energised by learning and she values diverse viewpoints and collaborative thinking. Outside of her 9 to 5 she is an avid globetrotter, art enthusiast, yogi and bookworm. Her favourite TED talk is Alain de Botton’s “A Kinder, Gentler Philosophy of Success” in which Botton examines our ideas of success and failure and questions the assumptions underlying these two judgements.
