TEDxCapeTown 2012

I am Winslow. I download lessons, blessings and love - spiritually and emotionally - into journeys through words and sounds and the power held between these two elements. I weave words into tapestries to ignite the audiences’ passion for poetry and live performance. I am no stranger to the stage and with no fear of expressing my truth, I take the audience through journeys of self-discovery and the pain, ecstasy and freedom that loving your heritage, others and inevitably yourself brings.

What is TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxCapeTown, where x = independently organized TED event.

At our TEDxCapeTown event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
