Kirsten Wilkins

Kirsten is a freelance Urban Designer and Disruptor living in Cape Town. She is a passionate about translating urban design theory into usable tools for improving authentic city living and is researching the parameters of Open Source Urban Design in the context of the African City. Kirsten is an advocate for social justice and believes that appropriate urban design response is birthed from empathy. After years of saying all the right things about NMT and livable cities, she decided to get on a bicycle and actually understand this intoxicating thing called cycling.
