AVENUE Conference Center is a bespoke conferencing and event venue located in the hub of the V&A Waterfront in-between the Two Oceans Aquarium and One&Only Cape Town.

This newly built inspiring meeting and event space overlooks the V&A Waterfront Marina and boasts a unique viewing panel into the Aquariums' 1,5 million litre Ocean Exhibit which promises to deliver the Wow factor as well as a stimulating and engaging venue for learning, team-building and conferencing.

The state of the art facility offers an internal space of 950m2 on 2 levels which can accommodate up to 700 guests.

What is TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxCapeTown, where x = independently organized TED event.

At our TEDxCapeTown event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
