Music Maestro

Melinda has a background in molecular biology, bioscience enterprise and bioprocess engineering. She is currently trying to turn algae into biodiesel and get a PhD out of it at the same time.

Grounded in a desire to understand the 'why' and 'how' of life, her goal is to apply biological knowledge in useful ways. She is passionate about promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.

In her spare time, she can be found climbing rock faces, biking through mud or attempting to learn to kite surf.
